Sprout Baby Blanket
Submitted by Kimberly on Tue, 04/21/2009 - 12:57pm.Those folks at Classic Elite http://www.classiceliteyarns.com have done it again. Into my mailbox this afternoon popped a FREE pattern http://www.classiceliteyarns.com/newsletter.php for a beautiful baby blanket made from their Sprout http://www.classiceliteyarns.com/product_page_detail.php?category_id=5&i... yarn. Sprout is a bulky organic cotton that came into the store about three weeks ago and that I've been lusting over ever since. The pattern is simple, classic and lovely and would knit up great in any of the ten or so colors we have in the store. Pop in and see this great yarn and bring this pattern with you!
Did anyone see this week's installment of Knitting Daily? It was all about asymetrical patterns. The weirdest part was about choosing the right yarn and pattern for your body shape. They had all their Knitting Daily personalities dress up in sweaters and strut in front of the camera while Shay Pendray read from a card things like, "Sarah has the classic pear shape, which means her hips are the widest part of her body." YIKERS! On national tv! The only smiling model was the skinny girl with no boobs. Yeesh. Next week looks promising, tho. It is a show about one-skein wonders - great recession knitting ideas. Check your local listings. For me, it is on Tues. a.m. at 9:30 on channel 22.
