It featured a free pattern for a Silky Alpaca Lace Shawl that was done entirely in garter stitch, thereby making it a good project for beginning knitters. We carry much of CEY's line at K2Tog, and though we do not carry the suggested yarn for this pattern, we do carry another yarn that the designer, Judy Croucher, says she is going to knit it up in next - Alpaca Sox. I think I would even prefer this yarn to the suggested yarn because with it the shawl can be knit in a single strand (as opposed to the double strand you need with the Alpaca Lace) and because it changes color, breaking the monotony some of us find in garter stitch.

Come in and look at this yarn and start your shawls. Should be finished in time for this fall!
