There are many different kinds of buttonholes shown on the web and in books. We will make several different kinds, including Ellen's all-time favorite, and discuss where and when to use them. Duplicate stitching lets you add color to your stockinette knitting without working with two strands of yarn or cover up a mistake without re-knitting your project. This is a handy technique to have in your toolkit. Bring a 6" x 6" swatch of stockinette knitting with smooth yarn, a tapestry needle, and yarn to stitch with. Taught by Ellen.
