Ellen has just completed a colorful patchwork knit jacket using 9 crazy colors. Stop in the shop to see it, and come learn the easy technique that allows you to use lots of different color blocks without having to sew them together. Taught by Ellen. There are many different kinds of buttonholes shown on the web and in books. We will make several different kinds, including Ellen's all-time favorite, and discuss where and when to use them. We'll also talk about how big to make buttonholes to hold your buttons. Bring smooth yarn of any size and appropriate needles, stitch markers, and buttons. Taught by Ellen.

Duplicate stitching lets you add color to your stockinette knitting without working with two strands of yarn or cover up a mistake without re-knitting your project. This is a handy technique to have in your toolkit. Bring a 6" x 6" swatch of stockinette knitting with smooth yarn, a tapestry needle, and yarn to stitch with. Taught by Ellen.
