Ellen Graves

Ellen doesn’t know when she started knitting and crocheting, but her brothers and sisters seem to think it was when she was around 5. She comes from a family of craftswomen. One of her proudest possessions is the trophy her Grandma Ebert won for Best of Show in Crochet at the Hennepin County Fair in Minnesota.

Ellen has been helping students learn to knit since she was 15 when her first student was determined to learn and happened to have one hand and a stump. That was a magical moment for her.

Ellen is owner and curator of K2TOG retail shop and k2togonline.com. Ellen teaches the Thursday Morning Knit2Gether and might show up teaching just about anything.
