Elizabeth Zimmerman Percentage Pullover KnitAlong

08/22/2008 - 12:46pm
Learn how to make your own pullover using EZ's percentage system. It's easy, logical, and lots of fun. You will complete a pullover of your choice that fits the wearer exactly.

Be prepared to do a little (just a little) math.

This is an intermediate class. You must be able to knit, purl, increase, decrease, and work in the round.

Materials: Bring 1500- 2000 yards of worsted weight yarn, US 7 or 8 24" circular needles, notebook and pencil.

Homework: Work a gauge swatch (at least 5" X 5") in stockinette st.

Taught by Karen Schwartz register

Tips for the green knitter: Reduce, reuse, and recycle. "Re-purpose" those cute candy and gum tins as handy holders for your stitch markers and darning needles.
